The pleasure of working on an interesting project, with an old associate – Arundeep – faced tough challenges. The realities of the site threw up multiple limitations to realise the vision of the designer ; and the onus was on us to find a meeting point between the designers vision with ground realities. We knew we could do it. And with this conviction our team started the pre production.
The site is located on the 3rd floor of the building. The building facade, is made of glass, with horizontal and vertical aluminium members supporting the glass. As per the buildings regulations, the exterior should not be touched, and hence we had to install signs from inside, in a way that they are readable from the high street. Sounds Simple ? Here comes the challenge…how do you install sign behind a frame structure without blocking the view and impact of the client’s logo?
We started with the basics. Out team carried out thorough recce of the site, took measurements of every panel and developed a frame work which would assist the designer to place the logo and typography, in a manner that it doesn’t look obstructed. Designs were created and now we had to ensure that everything goes as per the plan. Systematic checks were put in place to ensure minimum possible variation. And the result we got was fabulous. Total of 3 signs were installed on the facade, facing the road; two with horizontal orientation and one with vertical orientation. Two of these have ACP background with Acrylic Face glow letters on it, while the third one, that overlooks the busy Shyamal Cross roads, is a 12ft x 5.5 ft Backlit Box, which provides a soothing display of the brand colours viz Blue, White and Yellow.

The project also included a lot of interior graphics, most of it to be done using Crystal Clear vinyl. The designer’s vision was to make the walls and partitions come alive and to make the space look alive. Multiple material and application techniques were put to use to achieve seamless and error free result.

We were quite satisfied with our accomplishment and were awaiting feedback from client and designer. Both of them were deeply pleased with the results, and we received multiple compliments.
